Our ingredients are meticulously and sustainably sourced in order to reduce or eliminate the chance of blood sugar spikes. We like to keep our TOTAL carb count low (not just NET carbs), in order to keep our blood sugar levels stable and reduce sugar cravings.

COLLAGEN PROTEIN

Collagen is one of the reasons our bodies don’t fall apart.  It literally functions to hold you together.  It is made up of building blocks called amino acids and is so important that it makes up approximately 30 percent of all the proteins in the body.  Collagen is essential for tendons and ligaments,, it supports soft tissues and organs, gives resilience to bones and keeps your skin firm.

WHEY PROTEIN HYDROLYSATE

A hydrolysate is a great protein source that has significant effects on insulin and satiety.  It is great  for post-workout supplements or anyone looking to increase muscle mass while reducing body fat.  It allows amino acids to be absorbed by the body more rapidly than intact proteins, thus maximizing nutrient delivery to muscle tissues.

WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE

Due to its strong amino acid profile and ease of absorption, this protein has been shown to augment muscle protein synthesis, support fat burning, boost the immune system, improve insulin sensitivity and decrease appetite.  Additionally, whey concentrate is shown to boost production of glutathione, the body’s master antioxidant.

MCT OIL

A medium-chain-triglyceride with big research benefits.  MCTs improve blood regulation (yay!), improve metabolism, (especially fat metabolism), may improve thyroid function, improve appetite regulation and are used to treat many ailments (Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, seizures, cystic fibrosis, etc.). As far as brain function goes, MCT oil is like rocket fuel because it enhances ketone production. Ketones, of course, are a more efficient fuel for your brain.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is an edible oil that is said to be one of the healthiest foods on the planet. Most of the fats we consume take longer to digest, but MCFAs found in coconut oil provide the perfect source of energy as they are quickly used by the body as fuel.  A true antioxidant that we use in many Adapt products.

PALM OIL

An edible oil that comes from the pulp of palm trees, harvested from RSPO-approved sustainable sources. The beneficial fats in palm oil are more stable than those of other vegetable oils such as corn, canola, safflower, sunflowers, or soybeans. It can withstand extremely hot temperatures and resists oxidation. No Trans Fats in here!

NUTS

Nuts are full of protein and clean fatty-acids, plus they’re pretty darn tasty. We use a variety of nuts for different flavors, textures, and macronutrients.

SUNFLOWER LECITHIN

A substance found in all living things that adds to the tremendous solubility of our powders. How important is lecithin? Well, it makes up a third the mass of your whole brain! Containing more health benefits that could possibly list here.  Our lecithin is cold pressed from sunflower seeds and not soy, so it has no hormonal response.

STEVIA / STEVIOL GLYCOSIDES

A naturally occurring sweetener and sugar substitute, stevia is a green, leafy plant native to South America. Stevia extract carries a sweetness up to 150x sugar! Its negligible effect on blood glucose has made it a favorite sweetener for carb-sensitive dieters.

ERYTHRITOL

This sweetener occurs naturally in many fruits and fermented food products. It’s 70% as sweet as traditional sugar, but at .2 calories per gram (1/20th of sugar), it’s effectively calorie free! Erythritol is also known to have little to no effect of blood sugar levels.

SOLUBLE CORN FIBER

Fiber is the basic building block of most plants and has incredible benefits for human metabolism. Soluble corn fiber is an innovative ingredient, that should NOT be confused with high fructose corn syrup! While no type of fiber is actually digested in your body, the United States FDA still mandates listing it as a carbohydrate. Instead, soluble corn fiber is fermented by the bacteria in your gut and turned into short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which are then absorbed while passing through the large intestine, which is why they don’t count toward your Net Carb total. A growing body of scientific research has affirmed numerous health benefits associated with SCFAs.

NATURAL FLAVORS

We use real food to flavor our products: real cocoa powder, coconut, natural spices, and extracts.

CITRIC ACID

Citric acid is a natural, weak organic acid that is found in many fruits and vegetables and is used as a natural preservative and is used to add an acidic taste to foods.  It also acts as an antioxidant.
